The latest issue of Magazine Knives Illustrated has an article "Camillus Goes To War". Very informative look at what the people in Iraq are carrying in terms of combat knives, from a perspective of soldier to contractor. BK2 is mentioned, MC-1, 18-XRAY to name a few. Great pictures and very informative. AUTOKNIFE

Yes, a nice article indeed. But seriously, I was pondering as to why the author didn't point out the fact that Camillus have recently been awarded the contract to supply the kbar type marine combat knife? And that the CQB-1 is an issued item for the SF. Just a thought.

Camillus has a long history of military knives. Here's an illustration showing what they produced during WW2. Making fine combant/military knives is nothing new for Camillus, just continuing a tradition. My favorite of course, is the only military issue 'texas toothpick' styled fishing knife.

Yes, that's absolutely true. During the 1970's my mother was stationed with the Air Force in Thailand. The base she was at was where a lot of the soldiers being brought home from Vietnam were going through. During her time at this base she was given a Camillus Pilot's Survival Knife by a friend on his way home. That particular knife is now a part of my collection.

Question. How many parts make up a Mk2 Navy Knife aka kbar?
Try counting!
