Magna-Guide work with mini-sharp sharpeners?

I'm looking to get a sharpening system, and want to go with the DMT Magna-Guide or Aligner system. I know the magna-guide can be used with the diafolds in addition to the normal 4-inch whetstones, so I think I'll get that over the aligner.

But can you use the mini-sharps with the magna-guide as well? I'm trying to decide the most efficient way to get a full range of grit sizes. Thanks for your input!
 
Without metal on the back side they won't stick. Go with the diafolds, you can get all but the XXC
