Tess and I are really having fun with these. I love making the damascus and she loves adding these 7 lb. earth magnets to the sheaths. Together you get to wear the knife and let everybody admire it at the same time.

This damascus Stubby has a 2" blade of 320 layer damascus. The guard
is nickle-silver. The handle is a spring bok tip with a throat of white-gold acrylic and black spacers. The knife is shown with a
magnetic neck sheath, by Tess.

It's a great combo. Good idea and nice execution!

I only wish this could be worn and admired more around town. These days.... :(

What a fantastic little knife! I love it. The magnetic sheath/holder is an interesting idea. Have you ever noticed any kind a wear problem with the blade rubbing on the magnet?
 
The magnet is actually sandwiched between layers of thin leather so there is never any actual contact. When we first started this we noticed a bit of wear on the leather but, Tess switched to a different finish and we haven't had a problem since. thanks for the compliment.

I noticed that and have checked out your site. I also saw that nice knife with the Kudo horn handle that you posted elsewhere.
