I remember seeing, somewhere on this site, someone sharing a grinding jig they designed that essentially had a magnet in the center to hold the blade. It had adjustable pins on the front to locate the blade properly, but used a magnet instead of bolting on a blade so that it could be readily reversed for L/R grinding. The backside had a knob or such that allowed the magnet to be pulled back from the blade flat to release it. For the life of me, I can’t find this jig or the maker. Anyone help a guy out?
