Well, I ordered a 20" Super CAK but somehow ended up with a 25" 65.5oz Magnum AK! No complaints here, it's an absolutely wonderful work of art, it's quite a behemoth. Again, no complaints on my end and would return it if Auntie needed it back for any reason or pay any difference required.
I also received the 20" 25oz Gelbu Special blemish, equally as beautiful and can't find anything wrong upon close inspection.
Thank you Auntie once again for your wonderful and personalized HI service and support.

Pretty sad when your memory gets as bad as mine. Yikes!

Welcome to the forum Bigbore! Hmm? What? you been here for months? What was that about memory?
Lucky you! Man that is a kick arse blade right there! One day ill own one. Errr..one will own me:thumbup:

Hopefully, so everyone doesn't think I'm totally off my rocker, albeit close. I had ordered a Super CAK. Then the Magnum AK became available, I ordered but forgot. It was two weeks until I opened the boxes since I was out of town. Yes, still a giant dope but with a teeny weeny bit of justification.

No worries BG, I am quite sure there are many of us here, that are having some memory problems, I know I'm one of them.

Thanks cul4u01. I've said it before, you can always be counted on along with several others here.

Magnum AK vs 21" Kobra

I imagine the Kobra to be quite a fighter. However, at my age a 1911 may be more in order. The Magnum AK is simply a battle axe in no uncertain terms. Although, it's a true working piece of art as is the Kobra. I believe it would be prudent to wield the MAK with a good set of shooting or weight lifting gloves.

I hear about the 1911. I could slash and pound with a kukri, but a 230 FMJ will make quick work out of any adversary. You ended up with a gorgeous AK my friend. The Gelbu is a great fighter with its hollow forged lightweight blade. Auntie is the best and I have been surprised a time or two by her generous nature.

Thanks for the kind words and agreements. Yes, Auntie never ceases to amaze me as well. She's a true gem.

Dang! That MAK makes that Gelbu look like Kagas Katne. Kumar sure does fine work! Masterpiece there!

I'm in full agreement and not wishing to take away from the other Kami's capabilities. Now owning ten HI kukris, I can say I find beauty in each and every one and love them all. That said and in agreement with you, Kumar has made some of my finest pieces.

90% of my HI swords are Kumar pieces. He really knows his swords so his kukris much be brilliant. I have several of his Retis... those never disappoint.
