Magnum Bear Cub Sheath?

based on the few Buy Brown sheaths I've seen, I'll say David makes some of the best kydex around- a great fit, a satisfying "click" as the blades snap into place, and generally awesome retention! On top of that, he's a great guy to deal with too  If kydex is what you're looking for, you can't go wrong with his work

As far as leather goes, I'm guessing they'll take a little longer to hit the market, but looking at the leather skills represented on this forum, they should be well worth the wait, whoever you choose to go with :)

David Brown is always good people!

I love my sheaths from him. Perhaps, just as important to me, he is a great guy, who is always, and I mean always helping other people out here!

Will be looking for a boot sheath for the Magnum Bear Cub and maybe a pocket pouch.

+1 about David Brown... hell of a guy! If you are looking for leather, let me know! Also, Dwane Pucket is great if it is leather you are looking for... :D

I'll vouch for all the Kydex benders that have posted in this thread: Azwelke & Buy Brown both make top notch sheaths that you will not be disappointed with.

I have a few sheaths made by drbarnes that I bought when he first started making Kydex. The B4 sheath he made for me is one of the best sheaths I've ever bought. Great look, great fit, perfect retention, etc. I've got sheaths for my DF LE, Basic 10 LE, SAR-3 coming from him soon and will order a MBC sheath when they come too probably.

I am a huge fan of Rainwalker's sheaths as well!

You really can't go wrong with any of them. I'd say go for lowest price, or if cost is no issue, go with what looks best. I'm sure that all the makers mentioned here will post pictures of their sheaths once the MBCs arrive.

There are a lot of great options but I have to say working with Dave Brown was a great experience and I'll be hitting him up for a couple of sheaths for the MBC.

......yep that about sums it up...!!!!

I want to request the following sheath.

Taco style (minimalist in size)
Large and small Tec-Lok compatible
Fire steel holder for Firesteel.com gobspark ranger http://firesteel.com/gobspark-ranger-firesteel/
Little flip up on the top so I could push against it and easily remove the knife with one hand.

Anyone available to do such work?
Thanks!
