What is the differance between magnum black micarta and regular black micarta? Can some one post a picture of each side by side? Thanks.

the handle material is the same,,but the Magnum scales are much thicker and are contoured,

there have been many pics posted oF the two side by side.

there should be plenty of pics in the "Nothing but pics" thread..

I'll see if i can round you up a pics.

I hope Rat30 dont mind me stealing his pic for this post,,:) but as you can see the diffrence, the scales on the blade on the left are the "Magnum" scales, and the scales on the blade on the right are the standard. you can clearly see the diffrence in thickness and the coutour.

I have a gray HR with black mags, feels good in the hand - I can get a pic to you but not till tomorrow, you'll probably find one quicker in the "nothing but pics" thread...

You've answered my question. Thanks guys.

I can't get the search to work. Is it just me?

Hunter,

I recently received my first Busse, a Hell Razor with standard scales.

I have fairly small hands for a bloke and for my size.
For example I can not hold a double stacked 9mm, such as a standard USP correctly with the backstrap in the V between my thumb and forefinger and still get my second pad on the trigger.

Given this I thought standard scales would be just the ticket for me.

However I think now having handled stnadard scales, I would be tempted to order my next Busse with Magnum scales, despite my fairly small hands.

The standards are OK, but even for my small hands I think the magnums might be better.
Just a bit more meat in the palm.
And anyway if its going to be a user, you can take material off the Magnums, if required, but yo cna;t add tot eh stnadards with any real ease.
