This is gonna' be your best advice. Obviously a defect, so just return or exchange it.

Decided not to return it. Its a hassle. Only us knife freaks would mybe notice it. Does not effect it being used. Im buying another one later. This one will be heading to afgan with a friend of mine to serve him.
