Magnum or standard handles

Help Please! I want to get a fusion SH when they next come out but cannot decide whether to get standard or Magnum scales. My hands are not large - size 7 1/2 in surgical gloves if that means anything to you. Unfortunately there is no possibility of getting a feel for the knife where I live (South Africa). Any ideas?
 
Magnum: the extra contouring feels good, and provides an even more secure grip, even if your hands are small.

My suggestion: buy a Hell Razor while they can still be purchased at a sensible price. It could take a long time for FSHs to make a comeback in some form or another.
 
I like the mag scales on the HOGFSH due to the weight of the knive but prefer the regular scales on the standard FSH.
My size in surgical gloves is large
But scale size is a subjective thing.
 
While I don't own a FSH, I own 2 SFNO's. One has the standard flat handles and the other the magnums. I prefer the magnums much more. They fit my hand really good.:thumbup:
 
If you're a decent surgeon you could always cut your hand off and send it to Busse for custom fitting on the scales.

Keep it cool and I'm sure it could be reattached with in a couple of weeks. :thumbup:
 
I have smaller hands and the Mag handles fit like a glove. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
 
One more for the mags! I guess I have smaller hands and the mags fit really well. Esp with the Hell Razors I have - although the Mud Razor is kind of an inbetween size - and it does feel nice in the hand!

Small hands, small feel, smart mouth.............. no wonder the chicks never dug me..........:eek: :D :eek:
 
My hands are somewhere in the middle of "large," and I find that all the Busses fit me like they were made for me. I've got a dozen or so now, including HH in mag and HR in mag and std. I actually prefer to take the std. handle HR in the field with me (the HR is a great field knife IMHO). The mags feel great, but I've grown to like the std a little better, except when I'm swinging in the air on a zombie quest. The thinner handles just sit better in the sheath closer to the body and make a more compact rig for extended carry.

(Note to military guys: consider the std handles because they're more compact, easy to adapt to, a little cheaper and your rig will be a little more streamlined -- I think the HR is about the top end for size)
 
Another vote for the Mag Grips. The extra swell seems to just lock it all in place when you are using it. :thumbup:
 
One more vote for mag handles for me. :thumbup:

Fits better and feels more secure in my hands.
 
Well that was easy - the mags have it. Now the difficult bit - to actually get my hands on a satin FSH with mags - come on guys some of you have so many of these things you can't possibly want them all!!!
