M-Type Goodness!

Just arrived today! A big shout out to Marc of EDC Depot. I only ordered this baby on the 20th.

Those of you who have one (or more) of these already know how sweet they are. Those of you who don't, GET ONE NOW! :D Thanks to Chad for the design and to Boker for the execution. Great stuff!

Mahalo GSH,

Thank YOU for your kind words regarding this model. How is the Ti-Coat on this one, pretty nice ain't it?;) Oh yeah, DO GO SLOW if ya decide to go tip up on this "puppy"...the screws strip easily for some no good reason.

God bless and enjoy sir!!!

Just got my M-3 and Trance last week. Digging them VERY much .

Aloha XD45,

Awesome pic! Mahalo for your support and happy to hear you are enjoying them...however, "M-3"??? I know that stood for your M-Type, but how'd ya come up with that "name"?

God bless and thanks!

Ooops . I just bought it from the sales forum and when the seller replied to my PM he first said 'M-3' so it's been stuck in my head since :p.

The coating is nice indeed!
I've cut through a bunch of stuff, including heavy cardboard (which does a pretty decent job of scratching many blades), with nary a scratch. It looks really cool too.

I want to change the screws to torx heads, but I haven't gotten around to sizing them yet. I wonder if they're the same size/pitch as the Subcom/Trance?

Did I mention edge holding? :D Superb!

TRUE!!! I've used my PE Trance to cut things, mainly cardboards, the coating comes off easily, edge holding is not optimal (AUS 8 instead of 440C)

Bro, this pic freaked me out...

hey Daywalker,
didn't mean to phreak ya out.... I just have a photogenic lizard ;) :D
This M-Type feels great in the hand...phenom design  any chance for some camo green/desert tan G-10 w/ black coated blades :cool:
I can't wait to try out the Direkt with your "midway serrations" (i believe dialex phrased it so) ;)
take good care Chad :)
