Maher & Grosh Question

I picked up three of these in their different scale varieties when they were available.

I was wondering if GEC ever made a run of these under their own label, or just the special run of the Maher & Grosh?

They’re a nice knife so I think I’ll give one some pocket time.

They are based on the #92 Eureka Jack frame right?

Yes, the GECs were the #29s, except they had a punch instead of the "flesh blade". Came in several cover options. Scarce now!

Ah, yes. I recall now. The stockyard whittler. I know quite a few guys like the punch, but I think I prefer the spey.

Think it’d be possible to find out how many the production run was under the Maher & Grosh label?

It’d be nice if GEC would repeat a batch of these popular models. Like this one, the Pony Jack, Calf Roper…..
