Mail Call on history channel

Don't know if any of you watch the show 'Mail Call' on the History channel with R.Lee Ermie (drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket).
If you haven't - its a show where he answers viewer email questions about military or military weaponry. He often times demonstrates things himself.
Anyway, I thought since he recently did a piece on the Samurai sword, it would be cool if he did a segment on the Khukuri knife.
I posed the question 'how effective is the khukuri knife used by the Gurkhas?' at www.historychannel.com

Maybe if a few of us asked it might get a spot. If it did, I'm sure it would throw Uncle Bill some business. (also would be cool to see R. Lee chop some stuff up with a Khuk);)
 
He already has, the only problem is that the segment only lasted about 15 seconds. It had a nice old khuk and R Lee demonstrated an upward diagonal cut and mentioned the superstition about khuks always drawing blood. I wish he would have gone into the depth that he does with other subjects.
 
send another email saying
"WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION, NUMBNUTS?! 15 SECONDS IS NOT ENOUGH TO COVER A KHUK!" :mad:
I must have blinked and missed that segment. Ah well.:rolleyes:
 
ROFLMAO although I suggest a nicer tone; I wouldn't want him mad at me, even if I had a khuk and he had none...
 
hmm..you may be right about that.
Wouldn't want Ermie getting a wild hair and running me over with a tank or something. :footinmou
