I just received these two Pursuit Pro folders. Wow ! I really like em ! Nice grippy handles not to thick and not to thin. Came scary sharp , I got bit right out of the box 😆.

Is the handle grippy like the 450? I wanted to swap out the blade from the smaller one into a 112 but the geometry isn't right.

Yes it’s a nice grippy but not sticky. Some kind of stiff rubber stuff they call versaflex and glass filled nylon underneath. It doesn’t slide in pocket as easy as some but it’s not to grabby to go in easy enough. I think it will probably stay put better than a slick smooth handle like some. And not slide and fall out when I’m laying under working on equipment.

The small size is pretty good for deep pocket carry but it came with a decent sheath same as the large. I’ll agree a pocket clip would be nice. I’m thinking of making one that will snap into the lanyard hole. I’ll have to find the appropriate material that will be easy enough to work with but stout enough to take the wear and tear.

The small size is about the same profile as a 112 and the large is about like the 110. Both are much lighter than the standard 112 and 110. I think they are going to be excellent hunting knives and probably an excellent work knife too. And I really like S35vn blades. I’m gonna give them a go today. 😝

The lack of a pocket clip is what has been making me recluctant to buy one. I have a fixed blade large Pursuit Pro and really like it, keep us posted on your home brewed clip endeavor.
