I splurged a bit overboard Monday night when shopping online. The mailman just delivered the goods.

Bought the two flashlights from a popular survival website/blog/forum/store, and got the two knives and paracord from another website.

The Spyderco Atlantic Salt Rescue is my new glovebox knife, and the paracord and miniX will also go in the car, too.

The Mini123 is my new bedside light, and the ESEE6 is my new backpacking knife :p

Sorry, I'm on "new gear overload" right now and just wanted to share! I'm excited for the winter backpacking season to start in November and put the ESEE to use!

I think I might sell off my 3 Surefire lights now... I dont know.

Nice gear :) LED's have come a long way in the last 10 years. I wouldn't sell those surefires off just yet, which models do you have? The ones that take P60 and P90 dropins have a ton of aftermarket LED options nowdays. To this day I still regret selling my M3, coolest flashlight I ever owned.

My Surefire's are LED's. I have the E1L, E2L, and L5. I bought two 4sevens Preon1 flashlights about 6 months ago, and I havent used the Surefire's ever since. It'll only get worse now that I have two more 4Sevens lights :)

Nice, I like the lights and the knives. I really also like the color of the 550 cord, nice and bright.

The color of the cord is called 'Gecko'. I like it, a lot.

I am going to update the original post to add in some photos I just took for fun :p
 
I like the "gecko" cord a lot too, and I wrapped my bk14 with it! I love when the ups man comes by he always bring cool stuff, but my mail lady isn't as nice she just brings bills. :(
 
You suck, 3x each gecko and fireball hanks in bound to my place now, thanks for the info.
 
You won't have any trouble cutting the paracord into length's with that new SALT. Nice acquisition. :cool:
 
Nice gear. I really want to try out the MiniX by 4Sevens. Unfortunately, I just "had" to buy two Surefires on closeout, so my flashlight budget is shot.

Again, nice stuff!
