Nothing like waking up to new knives! Hmmm what do we have here:

Lucky you! I got a couple of Byrd Crows in the mail the other day. Had a bit of a mad weekend on e-bay! Got a CS Spike, CS Roach Belly, an etched Damascus folder I picked up for less than 5 bucks, a Tom Anderson designed razor cheapie, and a nice handmade Damascus fixed-blade I'll be posting pics of. Only trouble is PayPal had some major screw-up over the past couple of days and the order went to my old address. Grrrr! So I'm going to be waiting a while longer for them.
 
My mini Manix should arrive on Friday.
I feel like a kid at Christmas(a really broke kid with a bunch of bills...)
 
Well, good news and bad news.

The good news is that I LOVE my Groove. I've been flicking it open and closed all day long. It's so fun to open because it actually takes a bit of skill/technique to get it to open all the way and lock. And I don't feel like I'm wearing something out like I do when I play with my AOs.

The bad news is that upon further inspection I have actually received a Byrd Crow and not the Byrd Meadowlark that I ordered. I e-mailed NG and hopefully will get a reply soon. If what I've heard on these forums is true, they'll come through with a solution.
 
Man... I was disappointed again yesterday. I'm waiting to receive my first real folders (Delica 4 CE and Dragonfly SS PE)... they were supposed to be shipped priority mail, but they were sent Fed-Ex ground instead. :jerkit: Well, that was six days ago and now it looks like they are still two states away. :grumpy:

New Graham offered to to pay for me to ship the Crow back and ship me a Meadowlark free of charge.

But the damn thing has grown on me so instead they are giving me a discount and free shipping on a Meadowlark that I will order in addition to keeping the Crow :D

Looks like it worked out for you. I've never dealt with Michael personally,
but I've never seen a bad post about their customer service.
That says something.
