Hey Guys,
I just bought a ZT 0550,and was wondering Is there a length it has to be under? Can I carry the 0550 in my front right pocket and a Leatherman charge TTI on my sheath on my belt? Also big question how old do you have to be to carry?

Here is one source with some context - http://www.knifeup.com/maine-knife-laws/

I pretty much always carry a 3" folder with a pocket clip and do not hesitate to wear a 6" fixed blade in a sheath on a belt. These are always "hunting " looking knives not zombie slashers. Lots of times the fixed blade is under a jacket as that is what you need to wear around hunting season. I take my coat off, have lunch in public and then go about my business. Has never been an issue. Depending on your demeanor and attitude you might experience some issues with "some" LEOs but in Maine you are not breaking any laws as I understand it.

As for the age thing - The age of majority, or age at which you are considered a legal adult in Maine, is 18, but you can't legally purchase alcohol until you are 21  Having said that I think if you are 18 you don't need to have another "adult" to give you permission to carry a knife. Don't take my word for any of this. Different towns different attitudes. The law is the law but that is not to say that you won't get some hassle.
