Hi custom knife fans,

Just finished this up for a customer of mine. I know, if it was truly "Maine" it would have blue tarp and duct tape on it, but I am leaving that up to it's new owner. I talk to a lot of hunters and this is a little on the large side for the tastes of most of the old timers that I have spoken to, who usually want a knife about 1/4 inch longer than their index finger. The old timer usually makes a thinly vailed reference to poaching at this point. I wanted the emphasis to be on the Utility side, sort of like a bushcraft knife.

The blade is 01, bolsters are Nickel Silver and the handle is Green Canvas.

Thanks for looking.

That's a mighty fine utility knife and with a dressed up thumb notch too....to cool........

Wow Sir, almost makes me want to move to Maine so I can order one of those knives! Really nice looking blade.

While I am not a fan of Micarta, I like everything else about this knife--a lot! Handle and blade shape really appeals to me.

Thanks Paul,

What it REALLY needs is Moose slabs. The Micarta was customer request, though.
