Does anybody here have any experience with mainstreet forge, particularly their bi-fold wallet ?.
Not the slim front pocket bi-fold, but the standard bi-fold they make ?

I'm at a point where sadly I kind of need to retire my wallet, and this one seems like it would fit the bill perfectly.

It's around the size I'm looking for, it's a relatively thin bi-fold, American made, reasonably priced, and has a lifetime warranty which isn't something I expected but do appreciate.
They have a couple really beautiful looking leather options too.

I just ordered their bifold in the Tobacco snakebite brown leather.
Shipping was free, and while I declined because I didn't need one thry did offer $10 off one of their belts which was nice of them.

The wallet in the picture was likely the most charactered example they had, but what I got isn't bad and I'm sure it'll develop more character with time.

It's noticeably larger than I'm used to, but my old wallet might be smaller than average.

My dad made it as a kid in the scouts 50+ years ago, so it would probably be hard to find something that size.
It's a shame that I have to retire it, but it's time.

I'm happy with this wallet on first impressions, and I expect to get used to the size before too long.

I'm pretty sure the leather they're using is a tumble relaxed Horween judging by the suppleness and all the oils and fats in it giving it the pull up effect it has, and my experience with such leathers tells me it's going to age so beautifully in relatively short order.

I'm very happy with my choice, but I believe if I was to do it over I'd get a lighter color, really just because I'd love to see how it's going to age.
