Hi guys,
I bought a sharpshooter sheath and it's a little dry and stiff. I want to soften it up a bit and also increase it's element resistance. What's the best way to do this? I use something called sno-seal on leather boots and that seems to work great but I don't know if thats good for sheaths?
Thanks.

I use SnowSeal on all my leather sheaths. It keeps the leather supple but not stiff. Good stuff.

I'll second the Sno Seal suggestion, its pricey but well worth it.

I have used some Obenauf's leather products for a few years now and like it.

I've always used Snow seal or Renaissance wax and depending on the leather Filson leather oil.

Good luck
Helle

I've used SnoSeal on my leather belts, booths, sheaths and stacked leather grips for decades... good stuff. Melt it in with a hair dryer (if it's your wife's, wipe the gunk off the grip before you put it back);).
