This is my second time on these forums so I apologize for not putting this in the right place or seeming fairly green.
So I'm 20 years old and I love old knives so I've started a collection. I only have a few as of right now and one of them is a Vietnam era bayonet and it has the hard plastic sheath meant for a web belt. The kind of sheath that I imagine isn't too good to pull the knife in and out of. Would it be better to completely take it out of the sheath and leave it that way or should I look into getting a leather sheath to store it in? I'd really rather seek out the advice of people that have been doing this for a while before I screw up any of my knives.
