My small collection of Maize Knives. I don't know why these homely little jacks appeal to me. Perhaps it's because these were all inexpensive (except the Case which was more than $100) and they don't take up much space- all about 3 3/4 - 4" closed. They all have strong springs and no blade wobble. They all are in good condition, never abused.

Front the top, the tang stamps are :

#210: CASE TESTED XX.....(this stamp used 1920-1940) I think it has been cleaned.
#211: Remington / R921 .....(this stamp used 1935-1940)
#212: PAL BLADE CO. MADE IN U.S.A......(this stamp about 1940-1945)
#213: HIBBARD SPENCER BARTLETT & CO. / 212.....(hardware company, Chicago, 1855-1960)
#214: WINCHESTER TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A. / 1624.....(this stamp 1919-1942)
#215: ROBESON ShurEdge U. S. A. / 211008.....(this stamp 1922-1940)
#216: UTICA CUTLERY CO. UTICA, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. .....(still in business, but this knife must be 50-60 years old)
#217: HIG-PEARL HWD. CO. DALLAS, TEX. .....(Higginbotham- Pearlstone Wholesale Hardware Co Dallas, 1926-1977)
#218: SHAPLEIGH HDW CO. ST. LOUIS, MO. .....(1843-1960)
