Well, I hate to say it, and some of you may disagree, but, while at IG's house this morning, I talked him into giving me a jar of his infamous "Heat Treating Relish". Now the bummer part is that when I left, and down the road about 15 miles, I realized that I forgot this container of rocket fuel for the poop shoot at his house. Guess I'll have to go back to IG's to pick it up. Of course this will have to happen when I return from Indiana, cause I'll be working their for the next couple of weeks.
Also dropped off a few bundles of band saw blade for distribution among needy bladesmiths of NECKA. The company I work for goes through about 10 blades a week, and I usually get em all. I'm going to try to get in touch with the blade manufacturers to find what the material spec is on this stuff, it's definately high carbon, possibly L6, but for guys that make a living selling blades, it's kind of important to "Know" what is in the steel that they use.
