Major Problem Mr. Busse

I broke my SERE2000 yesterday when I was cutting metal bands wrapped around some skids!!! I NEED A NEW FOLDER!!!!!!!!!!! Don't make me buy a different makers when your's is coming out "soon" Please Mr. Busse???????

You must be a 500 pound gorilla to break a S2K... maybe you should stay away from knives in general!
 
I've told you guys before. Jerry has made knives that fold. It involved huge hydraulic presses and jigs the size of automobiles but he has, in fact, gotten some of his knives to fold. Now, the engineering challenge is getting them to fold back!:rolleyes:
 
500 lbs??????? I may have been accused of being full of $hit sometimes but not 500 lbs worth!!:eek: Actually the lock failed first and I almost lost my fingers. Then the edge failed after cutting thru a couple of bands and now the slabs are tweaked out of alignment because the pivot pin got "stretched"
Break a Busse??? Yeah, right:D My SHBM is still going strong after being carried around on my LBV for years and my SHBA that I just got rid of recently had opened over 100 bags of Quickset concrete by just stabbing it into the bags and ripping them open. Am I hard on my knives? Maybe a little but they are there to be used as tools for me so I need to be able to count on them.

I have yet to break mine, but the lock is totally sucking arse lately:grumpy:

I should just leave it open and get a sheath for it!
...but hey, that must be why I'm switching to an Active Duty!:D :cool: :D
 
Dang Bob! I was thinking about buying one of those myself. I guess I need to save my cash and wait for THE folder like everybody else.

It's really kind of interesting how many people are giving up on various types of knives and turning to Busse of late.

Me, I had already given up on various types of knives, but I only recently found Busse. :)

Tells ya something when people who do find a particular manufacturer seldom leave.

Or only buy one.
 
Well, it looks like I'm going to have to pull out some of my other folders. I wonder how many fingers I'll loose this week:eek: I suppose we all must make our sacrifices:barf:

yeh i know how you feel... i'm building a house and i lose one a week also. i think we should back charge jerry, he's costing us some big bucks about this folder issue. and to top things off my proto's clip flew off the thing and i'm without till he gets it back. loaners suck!:grumpy:
 
hey flathog, why don't you start a new thread and we can all post our folders and get jerry on the stick!!
something like.... "i'll raise you a nice folder" or "i fold"

"you got to know when to fold them"
