By adding a longer handle.
The Scanduckie is a bit long for a tin but this method works just fine with John's tin knives also.
First find a suitable piece of wood.
Then split it down the middle just enough to get the tang in.
Then wrap it nice and tight and wahla,(ok Voila'
) we have a little big knife.
Use the same method to make a spear or gig also.
This was just to show what can be done with little tin type knives.
I still plan to put some Osage on the Scanduckie to dress it up.
