Make it easier to find the Knowledge Base

I went crazy this morning trying to locate the Bladeforums Knowledge Base and Bladeforums-specific FAQ. Once I was in the forums I couldn't find a combination of button clicks that would get me there. It used to be that I could just click the Bladeforums logo at the top of a page and be taken high enough in the directory structure to reach things like the knowledge base. Now it only takes you up to the top of the forums section. To get there I had to type "www.bladeforums.com" into my browser address field to go to the root of the website. From that level I can pick "Knowledge Base" or FAQ's out of the Site box. In the knowledge base I can pick the "Knife FAQ's", which are what we usually mean when we say "go look it up in the FAQ's" around here.

Could we create some link at the top of the forum pages that takes you to the top-level, the features section, or even directly to the knowledge base? I think we make it hard on the newbies. Our current FAQ link in the blue bar on the forum pages is just the vBulletin FAQ.

The FAQ's are really out of date now... I've been thinking about a specific FAQ's forum and such, but I'm not sure really how to handle it. I'd like to give Joe T. a place where he could continually update and revise his FAQ threads, but I don't want other people posting responses to them & such. It'd require some finagling with the software... you get the drift.

Could he update the present structure? Then you could post the link to it http://www.bladeforums.com/features/faqs.shtml as a sticky, say on the Blade Discussion Forum. And we could continue to update or add it periodically.

It'd be easier if he could just make individual posts and we could sticky them in their own forum. He'd be able to edit at will.
