Cheers!:)

I've recently picked up a knife by Laurent Gaillard. Typically most French slipjoint knives are a little larger shall we say than the majority of their English and American counterparts....

I'm thoroughly enjoying carrying the knife.

I've always liked the look of some slipjoints makers like Ray Laconico and Bob Dozier have made too.

So, please, post some pic's of larger slipjoints... custom, production, doesn't matter:) and tell us why you like them

Here is a pair of Queen Mountain Man knives: slipjoint and lockback. Birdseye maple covers.
Each has a 3 3/4" D2 blade.
These are large knives, which are very comfortable in the hand and a delight to use.

A classic case of the name suiting the knife Frank!

Great combination of materials on that one too:)

They ride slim, fill the hand and cut like lasers.

These be yuge...

... at least, yuge relative to the size of knives I usually carry (3-3.5" patterns similar to those near the top left):

The Panama Trapper is 4 5/8" closed, almost 8 1/4" open.

The larger Fire & Ice seen above (a #23 by any other name?) is likewise immense:

Rough Rider Large "Coke Bottle". Only 5 3/8 inches closed, and just 9 1/2 inches open.
Mine has the white bone covers.
