I was wondering if there were any makers around the Knoxville TN area. I would love to stop by and watch for a little bit to gain some confidence for my first build. If anyone is close by and doesn't mind a visitor for awhile please let me know.

Another one to check out is Darrin Ellis. I know he is in Knoxville, and is a super nice guy to talk to. I think he is out of the shop until the 28th though.
Thanks for the info guys. I will definitely try to meet Ron, though I may have to wait for his hammer-in in the fall. I don't get out East of town very often. I would like to see the Ellis' setup, too. I understand they are busy folks with business, jobs and school. I might see if they are around one weekend while my wife and kids are out of town though.
