There are lots of makers who will do a subhilt fighter very well, but not too many who are inexpensive. Probably the best maker for that price range is Ray Cover Sr.. He makes an awesome version of the subhilt for about $325. I think he is even using BG42 or CPM440V. Check him out. Paul Bos heat treats all his blades. His fit and finish is outstanding.
