Maker of Axe with A TF Stamp?

I'm looking at a used axe, and the only info I have is that it's painted red, wooden handle, and it has a stamp of "TF" on the head. Does anyone have any idea of the maker?

I've tried searching a bunch, and the only clues I've found were two Ebay listings, in which a True Temper half-hatchet had the TF stamp, and another that had a cruiser axe stamped with the TF that says it's a True Temper in the description.

Can anyone provide any information as to the year range? And if it's a quality True Temper if it actually is a TT?

Some pics from the listings you mentioned. One axe is marked True Temper as well as TF, and the other axe has a slightly different TF stamp.

Beyond this, I only have guesses.

Steve, you are awesome. Yes, those are the ones I mentioned. I suppose it's an educated guess the axe I'm looking at is a True Temper. I think I'll have to find out unless he want's some ridiculous number for it. Thanks!

Was wondering if you ever found out anything regarding the TF stamp? I also have a single bit marked TF that was red at one time! I cannot find anything one Han your post? Any help would be great hanks everyone.

Don't know what you have, but True Temper once used "No. TF" as the model number for their flooring hatchets. 1957 catalog:

Thanks for the reply Bob it’s appreciated I don’t have a flooring hatchet from True Temper yet lol. I’m not very tech savvy, as I have not figured out how to put a picture of the bit on here as of yet. I’ll do my best to get one uploaded for everyone to look at. Thanks again
