I came across limited info on this maker (a few mentions in the selling section, a handful of outdated YouTube videos). The knife models appear to consist of unique shapes and are specifically designed for EDC/SD. Does anyone have experience with Bladetricks to pass along? Thanks in advance.

Most of their designs look like they were made by someone who never actually used a knife before. Also overpriced.

Over 200 US$ for some tiny pieces of very common carbon steels. Some are paracord wrapped handle, no reason to be that expensive. Then some are just counterintuitive, like the pry bar with sharpened head to use for cutting, so you can't even pry with it.

Interesting that you would use an image of D.B. Cooper as your Avatar.

Back on topic:

Never heard of the company.

Overpriced.

SD is never a great selling point considering the above two points.

May never know if the investment is worth it. Who was(is) D.B. Cooper?

I'm not paying that kind of money for a mystery.

+100 cool points for identifying DB Cooper!!

Lots of shivs and shanks, and I agree, rather pricey. Appreciate the input.

On a different note, "Dan Cooper" was the name used for the original ticket purchase; "D.B." was a news report transcription error that stuck through history. "Dan Cooper" was also the name of a European comic book character that some believe was used as inspiration for the hijacker.
