Makers beware.

Thanks for posting this Keith. I had no idea. I've only ever been screwed over by one knife person (Ed Schott), so I'm generally a pretty trusting soul. I guess the take home message is clear. Only trust what you can afford to lose. :(

I had this guy try to get a knife off of me a few months ago. He was very good, if I hadn't just sold the knife he probably would have gotten me. It was only long after he had contacted me that I saw a post about him being a scammer.

This crap really pisses me off. Not just because inocent people get ripped off but it makes us all distrust so many legit customers.

Thanks for posting this Keith.

You're a good man, Keith. Thank you for being vigilant in our behalf. Criminals like Vlad need quick exposure if we are to keep them to a minimum. All of us should report scammers and frauds to the police. Even the internet scams we all seem to get occasionally need to be reported. If we did this, the noose would tighten and fewer of these dirtbags would be allowed to prey on our craft.

thanks for the warning....I've dealt with at least a dozen overseas customers...several more than once. Thankfully, none of them this guy. :grumpy:
