Makers/Designers?

Hi All. Have you ever wondered why knife companies only except new knife deigns from knife makers? I have seen some very nice individual knife designs get rejected by knife companies. And I have seen knife deigns by makers get the axe within a year.

Sales and Marketing. A "name" means you sell more. If it doesn't stop trying and find another. It's all about the profit.

BF member Mistwalker recently had one of his designs produced by Taylor.
It turned out very well in my opinion.

I don't know if this will start a trend but it's refreshing to see a design from a knife user and BF member.
