To avoid any confusion, please let me know if I may post the knives in the picture on the "For Sale by maker" forum.
The folder is a highly embellished knife from 1939.
The fixed blade was made by me, although I do not have sole authorship...these blades are not available for sale anywhere.
This is the sort of knives I specialize in and would like to get the ground rules right before I inadvertantly upset members.

You need to have a Knifemaker Membership to sell in that forum. As a Platinum Member you have use of the Exchange Forum for such transactions.

Knife Maker's For Sale Area

A place for custom makers and bladesmith's to sell their products, as well as pick up supplies and materials. Please note, selling is restricted to KnifeMaker members, buying is open to all.

Basically it comes down to who is classified as a knife maker.
Is an embellisher and/or a person who makes knives, but does not claim sole ownership, qualify as a knife maker?
I know that most scandinavian makers use blades that are made by a select number of specialist blade makers - very few grind/forge their own.

Wow...I guessed I missed that one. Spark needs to update the description of that forum to reflect the change. Thanks NV.
