I posted this in the AXE/Tomahawk/Hatchet forum as well, but I figured the maker probably makes knives as well and someone might recognize his mark. I picked up this hammer poll tomahawk in a trade this weekend and was wondering if anybody knew who the maker is? It has a maker's mark with an "E" and "C" or "O" maybe and 2 deer track marks as shown in the pics but I can't find any info on it.
Length along the top side is 5 1/4" and the cutting edge is about 3 1/4" and the haft is 19 1/2". Not sure on the weight but it is fairly light.
Anybody know who the maker is? I did a search here and couldn't find anything similar.
