Makers mark is mystifying! (TR? and Eagle/Hawk head?)

Hello all,

I had posted this on an Aussie forum, as I have a unique makers mark on a knife that, for the life of me, I can't remember who it belongs to!

Unfortunately none of the old hats around there could pin point the maker.

If you happen to know who it might be, I would greatly appreciate your assistance so I can reach out to them

Likely. Have never seen it myself. Can you post pics of entire knife and sheath side by side?

Sadly no sheath. The rat-tail tang goes through and is capped with a brass end flush with the wood.

I had been guessing the maker made at least a few things, given the number either that or it was a dating or similar maker specific code system etc.

I would interpret that as "F R" if that helps any...
