Makers mark Questions.

Is there some were that has a list of makers marks?

What is the simplest most cost affective way to put a makers mark on a blade with out it looking "cheep"?

I want to put together a makers mark of my own but don't want to step on any toes. Now I'm not going to try and make knives for a living, more or less have it as a hobby. I just would like to have my own mark on my knives.

I have not see a listing of marks, if you do a search there are alot of people using a simple 12v power supply to make the electro mark. I built the Chris Crawford unit and very happy. You will need to invest in some templetes but there are not very expensive.
