Hi,

Do you find that many makers often have available pieces on their sites? Who are the makers who do?

Yea i try to place available knives on my web site first then post them in for sale, Most of the Knives on my web site are "Ready to ship". if i sold a knife i mark it as sold the same day it "ship's". :)

Jerry Fisk tries to make knives available from time to time - lately about 1 a month. Interest has always been very strong, so during the last two months he has had a drawing, whereby interested parties can win the right to purchase the available knife. Up this month is a military model. See it here - http://www.fisk-knives.com/Available now.htm

I also noticed some spectacular damascus pieces currently available on Kevin Cashen's website. Here's a link to that one - http://www.cashenblades.com/available.html

Don Fogg also has knives available from time to time. He maintains a list of e-mail addresses, to which he sends notifications when new knives become available. A link to his 'available' page - http://www.dfoggknives.com/availabl.htm

[Editted to add -]

Jonathan Loose has a knife available from time to time on his website - http://www.jloose.com Currently up for grabs is a beautiful damascus dirk with decorated sterling fittings and a fancy sheath with silver and amethyst accouterments.
