I would like to build my own grinder (2" by 72") but I din't know where to get the wheels. I have found a fiew items but they seem expensive to me. Could you guys help with some addresses.
Thanks.

I'm in the process of building a 2x72 myself. I'll probably eventually order a wheel from Mr. Frink at the above listed Beaumont Metal Works However, for a proof of concept to make sure everything works without breaking the bank, I ordered an 8" contact wheel from Grizzly for $28.50. They sell them as replacement parts for their grinders. Just don't tell them I really don't own one of their grinders...;)

Here's a link to the page with the grinder itself. It's a model G1015 which comes with a 10" wheel I believe, but I called in and was able to order an optional 8" rubber clad aluminum wheel for my purposes. They even spec it as a knife grinder. There's a few guys who've started with these, but they don't seem to hold up well for teh long term if you use it a lot. It might be a simple solution for you for not a lot of money.

Hope that helps.
