Making a knife for a sheath.....

I had a customer that bought the knife that went with the sheath in the picture. He didn't like the frills and wanted something more conservative. I made him another sheath to his liking but he was also wanting to keep this one. I said he could have it if he wanted to trade more money. Well I ended up with it so I made this knife to go with it. 4 1/2" saw steel blade, euro crown stag handle and wrought iron fittings. Its around 9" overall.

That is a nice piece of work you got there. Im making one kind of like that but the piece of horn I have has a slight curve and Im tring to figure out how to stay center when I drill for the tang. I use old sawmill circular blades for my steel.
 
Very, very nice! How would someone use a knife like that for just daily use :confused: That is the kind of blade I would normally use to nick myself with :D Seriously, beautiful work as always. Have a good one!!
