Making a Merlin?

After looking at a 3d textured carbon fiber handle para2 with toxic liners I of course want something like it, the only problem is I want custom handles on a harpy... I don't usually customize my knives so I'm not sure if it is possible since the harpy has ss handles. A thicker lighter harpy would be a dream knife, since the merlin is no more.

Is this even possible? Would the cost of all the custom work not be worth the cost?

Is it worth it?Only you can say for sure.

It might be easier to start with one of the new screw construction tasman salt models.

If a custom tailored Harpy is your absolute dream EDC than yes, it's worth it, but only you and your wallet can decide that conclusively.

If you can work with the fabricator and get exactly what you're looking for I see no difference between doing that and ordering a custom. You're simply starting with an existing blade and lock mechanism.

Good luck.

To each his own. However, with the hundreds of awesome production knife models out nowadays, I just don't get spending money on customization. Again, to each his own.
