Making a paddle, Sweden

While staying at Preben Mortensen, founder of the WEISS courses ( which I both followed with succes) I started this paddle.

Nice work! I'm contemplating making a new set of paddles laminated from the scraps and strips in my shop. I'm inspired!

The wood is pine...a board that was lying in the woodpile. I took her out in the canoe, its paddles good but the shaft is bit short, but its functional.
