Hey guys.
Here's what I was able to get finished today.
I filed and sanded the Corby fasteners and lanyard tubing flush with the scales.
I also roughly profiled the scales with a hacksaw & file.
Now all I need to do is bolt them to the knife and do all of the finish sanding. I roughed the scales out to be within about 1/16" of the tang so my finish sanding won't take long at all.
The scales will cover the logo on the ricasso. (I wanted real size grips on this baby!)
I'm pleased with the outcome so far.
