Making grind lines on left grind more than right grind. Need suggestions

I am a novice bladesmith going at it for almost a year now. I was trained by Tom and Rick Mohr of Mohr knives. I freehand hollow grind with a 10 inch wheel on an unmodified grizzly. My problem is when I flip the blades to my right hand and push stick in the left, I tend to make more grind lines and can't match my face well either. When the blade and push stick are flipped I rarely make grind lines. Does anyone have suggestions on what to change to become more consistent? It's normally not this bad, but I was grinding a Bowie tonight and it looks terrible. I left it at a 120 grit and have to heat treat still, but I need to clean it up before buffing. No way I can buff this mess out.
