Here's my chop saw job... pretty bad! I chop then grind these kitchen knives to profile... profiled, sanded, deburred, drilled and chamfered ones in background...

Hollowed out tangs... doesn't look like much! ..this took most of my morning and while not seen it makes a difference in the hand. I don't care if it can be seen, buyers want a knife that performs.
...That is what I am all about, going the extra mile to make my knives the very best.

Rough ground tanto... nasty grind with .093" 52100 steel stock,
