For this year at least!

Got my eye set on a William Henry Lancet in Pearl and that folks, has just got to be it! This habit is really becoming a habit, tough to quit, so for the time being I've got to cut back (pun intended) on my buying.

Anybody else ever feel the pressure of wanting more than you can reasonably afford?

I've got the Zulu Trio, so that's covered, I've got a killer Butterfly, that's done,
Got a big whacking knife, Trailmaster plus that Khurkri!
Got the other William Henry spearpoint, so what more do I want? I gues the pearl will slip in the pocket easy enough, but got to pull the buying strings back, for now.

Just wanted to vent I guess...

Ok Gary, I'll send you a couple more knives for sheaths and then you can afford another one yourself. That is, if you can find the time to do them for me!!

You are a kind man, Mark, it's more than just having the money, it's a matter of deciding when enough is enough? I've tone down a little, but I know when I see something new come down the pike and it trips that little button of mine then I'm determined to get one. Case in point, I've had 4 Kershaw Random Tasks in as many months, get em' and then need money for a different knife and sell it, but afterwards, I either sharpen it for the guy I sold it to or make a sheath for one and think, Gee these are neat and I really need one! So round and round it goes.

One of the reasons I stopped getting the magazines delivered to the house was that they tend to make me want things, advertising, who'd a guessed it would work so good?

I'm ok, just doing some soul searching I guess,

Gary,

Ya know...if you sell (or trade) me that chisel edge tanto you made on your page you'll be able to afford one more new knife...

(Great looking sheath too!)

Michael, sorry, thanks for the offer, but that one is a real keeper, and very sharp! I put a lot into that knife, and even had RJ Martin donate some RaySkin so I could re-handle it, Thanks again RJ!

So thanks and I appreciate that you like the knife, but I'm not a knife maker and one of those was enough, it's something I'm not wanting to make again.

OK Gary, you've proven your point. Not only are you talented, but you are a wise man, too. How about I get a couple more sheaths out of you and the money can go to the girls' Christmas presents?

Sounds cool G2...I have a T12-CF (carbon fiber Spear Point) comming in the morning. Can't wait. If I like it, I'll probably get my girlfriend the T09-CF Kestrel, and a pearl Lancet for myself. Don't leave us now G2.

Every knife i buy i keep telling my wife it's the last one for the year!!
It's like that potato chip "Just can't have one"

G2, Jackos right. You can't just buy one... I lusted after the decorated damascus Sebenzas, being a Sebenza fan. But the price was always too steep for my thoughts. I then managed to trade into one and I am hooked! Jackyl you need to adopt me! Too many nice knives!

Ryan at Millenium Tools talked me into MTs, now he has a HALO III with my name on it... G2, got the sheath muchas gracias! I need a black leather one to fit a Gerber Multiplier for a duty belt. I'll email the details. Be safe guys (and gals)!

Imp, how do you know all about me?
You are right, haven't got that Onion, but I really like the way the Random Task that Kershaw is putting out now, if only I could get that spacer to align properly!

G2

Got it! It's a beaut and it has to be the last one, till Feb 2001 when my Hawkbill Cetan in Talonite (R) is finished by Rob Simonich and then THAT one will be the last one....a lot of folks at work just roll their eyes when ever I say `This is the last knife, really!' my credibility in knife buying is waning...

PS,
Sorry Michael, I was handling that Tanto last night, lightly shaving hair off my right arm, that chisel edge knife is pretty darn sharp! Check with RJ Martin, if you don't have one of his yet, his are even sharper!
