Got a Superleaf in a trade about a month ago and I have been really enjoying carrying this knife. Has the best lock-up I have seen in a while and a marvelous chunk of VG10!

So, I decided to try my hand at customizing it, just a bit. I ordered in some blue G10 and added a backspacer to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the results.

Tools used:
Hacksaw
Dremel w/ sanding drum and polisher
Wet/dry sandpaper
Portable Drill

Looks good Abarnhart!! The Superleaf is one of my favorites I love the knife and couldnt believe when they discontinued it due to lack of sales. Its one of the best setups for a folder IMHO. and fit and finish is very good.

Hey just be careful with the G10 and dust I heard its pretty toxic stuff if your grinding it with a dremel wear a mask!!

Sound advice, for certain. I hadn't heard that and definitely felt it afterwards. I had my mask on for the second half of the project.

The G10 is a very friendly material (aside from the toxic dust). I had bought enough to do a trial run and then a second, more polished, run. However, when I took my time and worked with fine grits, the G10 was consistent and finished super well.
