I had a request to make some triangle serrations on a KBAR here is how I did it

Could you explain further? Those don't appear to be serrations... They won't cut the way you have them at the end of the video...?

it was a request for a KBAR with triangle "teeth". I agree they really wont cut at the moment. After I heat treat the blade, and I thin the blade a bit more for sharpening they will be sharp. Will they saw? not sure, but the reason he decided on a custom blade was because he had seen one, and has a collection of KBARs. He could not find one. I did the test piece to ask if that was what he wanted and he liked it. it should be a unique looking blade in the end. how useful the serrations are? I may mess around with angling the serration like a saw after I heat treat. Honestly I was a bit worried about doing this pre heat treat as I think the tips may get hot. My plan is to coat them in a light clay when I put it in the kiln. Hopefully that will guard a bit against overheating. (not sure if I really answered your question)
