making the manix stronger!

hi guys,some time ago! i had read about adding a 3rd screw at the back end of the manix 2! as you no,this is the week point in this knife,with only a lanyard thats crimped to hold the G-10 scales in place and give some support to the rear end of this knife! i think by adding a stanoff and screw where the pocket clip is would solve this problem,some guys have done this,but i don't remember how it was done! is there any info on this! on the forum,as i would love to upgrade my manix,thank you.:eagerness:

I do not know but I can tell you that my G10 Manix has been beat to hell for the past year or so and it still functions like new. I don't see the need for this extra 'support'. If anything, you should be worried about the plastic cage before anything else, i've had to get mine replaced.
