I don't know if there has been a previous post on this. I'm too lazy to look it up anyway, so here goes: Open Page 15 of the April 2001 issue of Knives Illustrated. It features a butterfly knife by Paul Jarvis. It has a damascus blade with malachite (green) and bronze handles. This is one of the very few "arty" balis I've seen, perhaps because most are meant to be flipped and to take punishment. But this green thing is a thing of beauty.

Sorry, no picture. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner and I would be concerned about copyright infrigement issues anyway -- remember, it's out of a magazine.

There's another one of his balis in the Knife Guys 1st knife book. You're looking at 5 figure knives!!!!!! The one in the aforementioned book is $12,000!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting "the man himself" back in June at a knife show in Connecticut.

He does some FANTASTIC work. There was only one Balisong of his at the show (and not even at his table) but he did have a few pictures that blew me away.

By the way, most (if not all) of his knives are in the 4-5 figure range............. and worth every cent!!!
