Malanika vs Jelio

Buongiorno ragazzi avevo messo gli occhi su questi due produttori per un futuro acquisto e sono un po' indeciso, speravo quindi di ricevere qualche consiglio da chi li ha provati entrambi. Le linee di Jelio sono pazzesche, le finiture anche (adoro il trattamento anticato dell'ottone), d'altronde anche i malanika sanno il fatto loro. In termini di trattamenti termici suppongo che i Malanika siano una garanzia mentre i Jelio non sono totalmente sicuro dei trattamenti che danno. Tra l'altro anche per quanto riguarda gli acciai Jelio ha magnacut ed elmax che mi interessano, ma per quanto riguarda Malanika mi sembra che usi cpm 4v che dovrebbe tenere abbastanza bene la ruggine ma oltre questo non so quali altri acciai inossidabili adopera. Se li avete provati, cosa potete dirmi del loro puukko? Come vi siete trovati?

I've got a few from Malanika & have been more than satisfied. No purchases from Jelio; but don't mistake that as a lack of interest

Yes, I'm a hobbyist maker and I find the precision of the grind and especially the fit to the handle to be very impressive. I don't have a Malanika, and they do look nice, but I certainly recommend Jelio.

Per quanto riguarda le tue impressioni sulla tempra invece? Sai se tempra lui oppure fa temprare le lame da qualcun'altro?
 
My suggestion is to ask him about any concerns you have. He was nice during the build to send me a number of pictures and updates. I think I recall him doing the heat treatment himself, but you should certainly ask.
